News Delaware Theatre Opens Its First Shakespeare Play Dec. 14-29 After 17 seasons, Delaware Theatre Company is presenting its first work by William Shakespeare. And to celebrate the holidays, the theatre company has selected the Bard's Twelfth Night, now in previews, opening Dec. 14, and running through Dec. 29.

After 17 seasons, Delaware Theatre Company is presenting its first work by William Shakespeare. And to celebrate the holidays, the theatre company has selected the Bard's Twelfth Night, now in previews, opening Dec. 14, and running through Dec. 29.

An original score by Delaware composer Peter Flint, Jr. highlights the production, in which the exotic Illyria provides the magical setting for the romantic mischief of scheming clowns and lovesick nobles.

Artistic Director and DTC co-founder Cleveland Morris directs. In addition to its regularly scheduled 18 performance run, DTC will present five unsubscribed public performances (all priced at the theatre's lowest ticket price) and nine matinee performances for groups from schools.
