The Tony-winning Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, starring Brian Dennehy and directed by Robert Falls, will be taped for Showtime, reported Yahoo. The cable network will tape the play's final performance on Nov. 7 and air the show Jan. 9, 2000. Also starring in the play are Elizabeth Franz, Ted Koch and Ron Eldard, who replaced Kevin Anderson as Biff.

"We're taking the opportunity to make a permanent record of what many consider the greatest American play, on the 50th anniversary of it s premiere on Broadway," Showtime executive vice-president Mark Zakarin said. The acclaimed revival of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman is now playing at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre.It began life at Chicago's Goodman Theater, where Falls is artistic director, and began previews on Broadway Jan. 22. The show opened Feb. 10, fifty years to the day since the original production of Salesman bowed on Broadway.
