The Producers, the one show audiences seem to be most hungry for on the road, is part of the newly announced Denver Center Attractions' 2003 season, but the Mel Brooks smash won't arrive in the Mile High City until January 2004.

The 2003 season at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts's Buell Theatre includes the tour of Saturday Night Fever Feb. 25-March 9, 2003; the 2001 Tony Award-winning revival of 42nd Street June 24-July 6, 2003; the American tour of Cameron Mackintosh's production of Lionel Bart's Oliver! Aug. 19-31, 2003 (the staging launches in St. Paul in summer 2003); the tour of the Tony-winning Urinetown Sept. 9-21, 2003; the national tour of the current Broadway revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! Dec. 14, 2003-Jan. 3, 2004.

The Buell will then host The Producers, with a cast to be announced, Jan. 6-31, 2004. Late 2003 dates for the tour of The Producers are slowly being announced. The first touring company is on the road now, and will settle into Los Angeles for a long run beginning in spring 2003. A second tour launches in Boston in June 2003. A Toronto company is also planned for summer 2003.

A seventh offering in the Denver Center season is to be announced, and all of these shows are subject to change, given the nature of the theatre business.

Denver Center's 2003 season tickets range in price from $130-$440.50 and are available at Denver Center ticket services at (303) 893-4100 or (800) 641-1222, or at the ticket office at 14th and Curtis Streets. Series tickets can also be ordered atwww.denvercenter.org/bwaysubs. Single tickets are not available at this time.
