Inspired by the life of Walt Whitman and Irving Berlin's As Thousands Cheer, the revue will continue Mondays, Oct. 13, 20 and 27 at 7 PM.

The company features Vicky Devany, Lennie Watts, Jennifer Zimmerman, Cheryl Monroe and Erick Pinnick.

Notes on New York, according to a press statement, "reflects everyday life and situations from people, as seen through the eyes of one captivated observer. As all New Yorkers know, with over eight million diverse people on one tiny island, there are many stories to be sung, and there is nothing 'everyday' about any of them. From the subway evangelist to the skinny white girl on the bus; from the personal ads on a dating service to the big hairy man behind the bar, the city pulses with the grit, beauty and drama that only New York has to offer. You will not only become the captivated observer, but will swear that your own story is being told."

The creative team also includes artistic director Michael Levesque, musical director Di Pasqua and director Andrew Glant-Linden. Third Eye Theatre Company produces.

The Metropolitan Room is located in Manhattan at 32 West 22nd Street. There is a $25 cover charge and a two-drink minimum; call (212) 206-0400 for reservations. For more information visit www.metropolitanroom.com.
