News Dicapo Opera's The Most Happy Fella Will Get NYC Encore Run The Dicapo Opera Theatre will present a limited encore engagement of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella, which will begin performances June 14 in Manhattan.

Earlier this spring, the New York Times embraced Dicapo Opera's production of the Napa Valley-set romantic musical, which was presented without amplification. The return engagement will run through July 8 under the direction of Michael Capasso. Pacien Mazzagatti conducts a 29-piece orchestra.

Returning are Michael Corvino as Tony Esposito, with Molly Mustonen as Rosabella. Lauren Hoffmeier is Cleo, Brance Cornelius is Herman, Peter Kendall Clark is Joe, Lisa Chavez is Marie and Michael Hopewell is Doc.

In addition, Mo Rocca (Spelling Bee) will appear as one of the chefs in the "Abbondanza" scene on the June 14 opening night of Most Happy Fella.

The Most Happy Fella has choreography by Francine Harman, set design by John Farrell, costume design by Julie Wyma and lighting design by Sue Roth.
