News Dickens, Tchaikovsky, Moore et al Rolled Into One Christmas Carol at P.S. 122 Dec. 15-23 Theatre artist Ken Nintzel has rolled holiday classics by Charles Dickens, Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Clement Clark Moore into one big holiday fruitcake of entertainment, to run Dec. 15-23 at P.S. 122.

The title? The marquee-busting 'Twas the Night Before the Twelve Days of a Nutcracker Christmas Carol. Nintzel will direct a cast of 20, including the taped voice of auteur director Richard Foreman. The show will focus primarily on Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" and the ballet The Nutcracker. Foreman, meanwhile, will recite Moore's poem "A Visit from St. Nick," while characters from the classic song "The 12 Days of Christmas" make occasional appearances ("Lords a-leaping: five minutes").

Johanna Meyer will provide ballet choreography. Lighting is by Heather Carson.
