News Director and Designers Set for Off-Broadway's Love Child Primary Stages has announced the creative team for the upcoming New York premiere of Daniel Jenkins and Robert Stanton's Love Child.

Carl Forsman will direct Jenkins and Stanton in their new comedy, which will play Oct. 12-Nov. 19 at 59E59 Theaters. (The work runs in repertory with Lee Blessing's A Body of Water.) Love Child will officially open Oct. 26.

The designers are Neil Patel (set), Candice Donnelly (costumes), and Jeff Croiter (lights). Joanne E. McInerney serves as production stage manager.

"Real and theatrical worlds collide in Love Child," according to an announcement. The comedy centers on "the night a classic play spoke so loudly to its audience that its audience felt compelled to talk back."

A developmental presentation of Love Child was previously seen at New York Stage and Film. Stanton was recently seen on Broadway in The Coast of Utopia; Jenkins plays on Broadway in Mary Poppins.

Love Child joins the 24th season lineup, which began with the New York premiere of A.R. Gurney's Buffalo Gal. The company continues its new season with Lee Blessing's A Body of Water (Sept. 30-Nov. 9), Donald Margulies' Shipwrecked! An Entertainment — The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (As Told By Himself) (Jan. 27-March 7, 2009) and Tina Howe's world premiere Chasing Manet (March 24-May 2, 2009) with Tony Award winner Jane Alexander. Tickets for Primary Stages shows at 59E59 Theaters (located at 59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues) are available by calling (212) 279-4200.
