With others, Menken wrote Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Newsies, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Little Shop of Horrors, "Pocahontas," and other shows and movies.

Director Gordon Greenberg will oversee the Tangled production team that includes choreographer Connor Gallagher, puppet designer Michael Curry, scenic designer Bradley Kaye and costume designer Paloma Young.
