BERNADETTE PETERS
Very exciting news . . . According to an item in New York's Daily News, Bernadette Peters' eagerly-awaited Carnegie Hall concert, which will be held on Dec. 9, will be recorded by Angel Records to benefit GMHC. The album will be released within a month or two of the concert. Bernadette also revealed that the concert will consist of two acts. The first half will include songs from her new album, songs from her older recordings and tunes she has sung in Broadway shows. But, it's the second act that promises to be one of the theatrical highlights of the season: all of the songs in this half will be Stephen Sondheim tunes that BP has never sung before.

So, if you haven't bought yourself a ticket to the concert, be sure to to do so. Tickets are priced at $40, $100, $150, $250 and $550. The top two ticket prices include a post-concert party/reception. Call (212) 247-7800 for more information.
