DIVA TALK-A Patti Update PATTI LuPONE
Due to Olympic coverage, Patti LuPone's appearance on the "Today Show," which was scheduled for Monday, July 15, has been postponed for a few weeks. The interview was taped on Friday, and as soon as I find out the new air date, I will let you know.
However, don't despair. You can get another dose of La LuPone on August 16, when she appears on the "Rosie O'Donnell Show." At this time, Patti is scheduled to sing "Meadowlark," from The Baker's Wife, which is one of her most thrilling songs.
Also, look for reviews of Patti in Master Class on July 26. Although there is no official opening, reviews are due out on that Friday, right before Patti leaves to sing with the San Francisco Symphony.
