News Dividing the Estate Gets Three More Performances Off-Broadway Primary Stages has added three performances to the upcoming New York premiere of Horton Foote's Dividing the Estate.

Michael Wilson directs the work, which begins previews Sept. 18 and officially opens Sept. 27 at 59E59 Theaters for a run through Oct. 28. Three Sunday matinee shows at 3 PM have been added for Oct. 14, 21 and 28.

Elizabeth Ashley (Enchanted April), Arthur French (Two Trains Running), Hallie Foote (The Day Emily Married), Penny Fuller (Southern Comforts) and Gerald McRaney ("Deadwood," "Jericho") star in the drama.

Dividing The Estate is described as a "human comedy about a family that must confront its past as it prepares for its future." The work debuted at Princeton, New Jersey's McCarter Theatre in 1989.

The creative team for Dividing the Estate includes Jeff Cowie (sets), David C. Woolard (costumes), Rui Rita (lights) and John Gromada (sound).

Primary Stages opened its season with Michael Hollinger's Opus. The line-up continues with Brooke Berman's Hunting and Gathering (Jan. 22-March 1, 2008) and Willy Holtzman's Something You Did (March 18-April 26, 2008).
