A doctor claims he can turn gay men straight with a simple cut to the brain in Kalen's Cut, the latest dark comedy from The Stacked Deck Theatre Company. Cut, written by Bill Doyle and directed by Michael Alltop, plays at NY's Center Stage, April 15-25. Forced into hiding after his clinic blows up, Dr. Kalen, lives under an assumed name in Upstate New York. While attending a dinner party, Kalen is discovered and held at gun point until he restores an ex-patient to his former sexuality.

Playwright Doyle is a founding member of Stacked Deck, and studied playwriting at NYU's Graduate Writing Program with Arthur Miller and David Mamet.
