News Documentary of Karen O's Stop the Virgens Available Online A half-hour documentary film about the making of Stop the Virgens, the rock theatre piece by Karen O and director-playwright Adam Rapp, is now available to view online.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs' vocalist Karen O co-wrote and starred in the "psycho opera" that debuted at St. Ann's Warehouse last fall. The Creators Project, which helped nurture the work, captured Karen O and her collaborators throughout the creative process.

The two-part documentary also includes director Rapp (The Hallway Trilogy, The Metal Children), production designer KK Barrett, costume designer Christian Joy, choreographer Mariangela Lopez, as well as musicians Speigel, Nick Zinner and Money Mark.

Highlights from the production are also featured, including the songs "The Last Lullaby and "Get Em On the Run."

Stop the Virgens is described as "an assault on the tragic joys of youth, fever dreams drenched in visual seduction, a cathartic spell spun through a cycle of nine songs."

Karen O also wrote and performed many of the songs for "Where the Wild Things Are." She led a cast that included Lili Taylor, Money Mark, Jack Lawrence, Patrick Keeler, Brian Chase, Nick Zinner, Jason Grisell, Gillian Rivers, Yuiko Kamakari and Justin Kantor. View the videos here:
