The double bill began previews at the Greenwich Village venue Jan. 30. The run is open-ended. Sailor Man, which won the Overall Excellence – Outstanding Play Award at the 2008 NY International Fringe Festival, is described in press notes as "a darkly comic tribute to the exploits of a beloved spinach-eating seaman."

The new work, which is co-produced by The Two-Fisted Theatre Company, LLC, was created by Ryan Iverson and Scott Peterman, who star as, respectively, the Sailor Man and the Brute, with Lauren Blumenfeld as Olive. Peter James Cook directs with fight choreography by Jacob Grigolla-Rosenbaum.

Rumspringa, written and directed by Peter Zinn, features Jim Boerlin, C. S. Drury, Kirsty Meares and Mickey Sumner — the latter is the daughter of music icon Sting. The play, press notes state, is a "dark comedy that explores the desire in all of us to experience life outside our 'normal' lives. Several generations face their own lives during a Rumspringa [the coming-of-age experience for Amish teenagers] rave in an Indiana cornfield filled with rebellious Amish teenagers.""

Sailor Man, which runs 45 minutes, will kick off the evening at 8 PM, followed by the 100-minute Rumspringa, which begins at 9 PM.

Show times are Thursdays-Saturdays at 8 PM.
