Ghostlight Records releases the world-premiere cast album of the Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of Love's Labour's Lost, penned by Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson collaborators Michael Friedman and Alex Timbers June 3 via iTunes.

Featuring a score by Friedman and a book by two-time Tony nominee Timbers (RockyPeter and the Starcatcher, Rocky, Here Lies Love), the 2013 production marked the first new Shakespeare-based musical to be produced at the Delacorte Theater since the Tony-winning Galt MacDermot musical Two Gentlemen of Verona premiered there in 1971 prior to a Broadway run.

Love's Labour's Lost will arrive in stores July 8. The physical release includes a full-color 36-page booklet with lyrics, photos, a show synopsis, notes from writer Mark Harris and Public Theater’s artistic director Oskar Eustis, an essay from Columbia University Professor James Shapiro and an essay by Hilton Als that originally appeared in The New Yorker.

The cast featured Daniel Breaker (King of Navarre), Kevin Del Aguila (Dull), Colin Donnell (Berowne), Rachel Dratch (Holofernes), Andrew Durand (Boyet), Kimiko Glenn (Maria), Jeff Hiller (Nathaniel), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Jaquenetta), Justin Levine (Moth), Patti Murin (Princess), Lucas Near-Verbrugghe (Dumaine), Bryce Pinkham (Longaville), Charlie Pollock (Costard), Caesar Samayoa (Don Armado), Maria Thayer (Rosaline), Audrey Lynn Weston (Katherine), Michael R. Douglass and Bradley Gibson.
