News Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Begins Engagement at Seattle's A.C.T. April 10 Jeffrey Hatcher's popular stage adaptation of Louis Stevenson's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde begins performances at A Contemporary Theatre in Seattle April 10.

R. Hamilton Wright directs the intimate Victorian thriller, which runs through May 10 and launches A.C.T.'s 45th anniversary season.

The cast includes Sylvie Davidson (Miss Elizabeth Jelkes), Brad Farwell (Dr. Henry Jekyll), Deborah Fialkow (Mr. Edward Hyde), David Anthony Lewis (Mr. Edward Hyde), David Pichette (Mr. Edward Hyde) and Brandon Whitehead (Mr. Edward Hyde).

Designing the production are Matthew Smucker (scenic design), Marcia Dixcy Jory (costume design), Rick Paulsen (lighting design), Brendan Patrick Hogan (sound design) and Geoffrey Alm (fight choreographer).

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde premiered in a co-production by Arizona Theatre Company and San Jose Repertory Theatre in 2008 and has quickly become a staple at regional theatres nationwide.
