The Dramatists Guild Fund’s annual gala, Great Writers Thank Their Lucky Stars, will honor A Chorus Line and Dreamgirls producer John Breglio November 7 at Gotham Hall.
A lineup of performers to-be-announced will celebrate the work of award-winning theatre writers at the 6:30 PM gala event, which will take place on the eve of the U.S. presidential elections.
“Playwrights, book writers, composers and lyricists are the lifeblood of the American theatre. Supporting the Dramatists Guild Fund is an imperative to insure the nurturing and support of Authors for generations to come,” Breglio said in a statement.
The evening will also honor Georgina Chapman & Keren Craig, Marchesa co-founders and designers; and arts patron Linda G. Levy.
