News Dream of the Burning Boy Gets Extra Week Off-Broadway Roundabout Theatre Company is adding one week to the run of The Dream of the Burning Boy, a new play by David West Read, at the 62-seat Black Box Theatre that houses plays in the Roundabout Underground program. The Off-Broadway run will now end May 15.

Evan Cabnet directs a cast that includes Reed Birney, Josh Caras, Matt Dellapina, Jake O'Connor, Jessica Rothenberg, Kristie Dale Sanders and Alexandra Socha.

The Dream of the Burning Boy, about a secret exposed when a high-school overachiever dies, opened March 23.

All tickets for Roundabout Underground productions are $20. Seating is general admission.

The play is the fifth production of Roundabout Underground, an initiative launched in 2007 to introduce and cultivate artists and new works in Roundabout's 62-seat Black Box Theatre, at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).
