News Dreamgirls Composer To Make Appearance at Philly's Prince Music Theater Jan. 10 Henry Krieger, the Grammy Award-winning, Tony Award-nominated Broadway composer of the 1980s hit Dreamgirls, will visit the Prince Music Theater to watch the resident Philadelphia company's new hit production Jan. 10.

After the performance, Krieger will join Albert Innaurato, Prince's playwright-in-residence and literary advisor, on stage for an informal conversation about Dreamgirls. Questions from the audience will be taken. Richard Parison's staging of the pop musical about a Motown-era girl group at the Prince was extended due to popular demand. It ends Jan. 15.
