Four-time Academy Award winner Clint Eastwood may direct "Hereafter," a new screenplay penned by Frost/Nixon scribe Peter Morgan.

Morgan, who wrote the Oscar-nominated screenplay for "The Queen," as well as "The Last King of Scotland" and "The Other Boleyn Girl," has written a new supernatural thriller that Variety reports is along the lines of "The Sixth Sense." DreamWorks will deliver the film; plot details have not been announced.

Morgan's highly anticipated film adaptation of Frost/Nixon, starring original stage stars Frank Langella and Michael Sheen, will arrive in select U.S. theatres Dec. 5.
