News Drowsy's Johnson Joins Cast of Qatar! Reading Troy Britton Johnson, who played Robert Martin in The Drowsy Chaperone, will take part in an upcoming reading of the new musical The Road to Qatar!

Part of the York Theatre Company's Developmental Reading Series, the 3 PM performance on Feb. 19 will be directed by David Glenn Armstrong.

Johnson joins a cast that includes the previously announced Ed Dixon, Valerie Fagan, Jason Graae, Ray Wills and David Hibbard.

The Road to Qatar! was penned by Stephen Cole (book and lyrics) and David Krane (music).

"What do you get when two short Jews go to the Middle East to write a musical for the Emir of Qatar?" ask press notes for the new musical. "A hilarious, tuneful and totally true musical comedy that brings the old Bob Hope-Bing Crosby road pictures into the 21st century!"

The reading will be presented at the York's home at The Theatre at Saint Peter's on 54th Street, east of Lexington Avenue.
