Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA, kicks off its cabaret season Sept. 3-6 with The Lost Songs of Broadway 1940s–1950s, "a collection of terrific tunes from some of history's forgotten mid-century musicals."

Singer-actors George Dvorsky, Eleasha Gamble, Jobari Parker-Namdar and Kimberly Sherbach will make music, along with music director Gabe Mangiante.

Expect songs by Cole Porter, Jule Styne, Kurt Weill, Rodgers and Hart, Harburg and Arlen, and more, representing shows By Jupiter, Cabin in the Sky, Jamaica, Mexican Hayride, One Touch of Venus and St. Louis Woman.

Michael Baron directs. Lost Songs performances are Sept. 3-4 at 8:30 PM, with two shows a day on Sept. 5-6, at 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM in Signature's 110-seat ARK Theatre, which is "transformed into a dramatic nightclub complete with intimate table seating."

Starting an hour before performance time, patrons can visit Ali's Bar in the Signature lobby and bring choice wine, beer, and sophisticated chef-prepared fare right into the theatre.
