Cast members from the Broadway revival of MacDermot's Hair will also perform. Show time is 6 PM. "Ear of the Heart: The Music of Galt MacDermot," according to press notes, "follows Galt’s music career and reveals the depth and spirituality of his unforgettable body of work." Proceeds from the benefit will be used to finish this film.
Galt MacDermot penned the music for Hair and won a 1972 Tony Award for the music for Two Gentlemen of Verona.
