The Maury Yeston musical will see a host of cast changes that day when John Stamos replaces leading man Antonio Banderas as Guido Contini and Jenna Elfman replaces Tony winner Jane Krakowski as Carla. Banderas, Krakowski and Rivera will play their final performances Oct. 5.
A world-renowned concert artist and actress, Eartha Kitt has appeared on Broadway in Bal Negre, Leonard Silliman's New Faces of 1952, Mrs. Patterson, Shinbone Alley, Jolly's Progress, Timbuktu! and The Wild Party. She received her first Tony nomination for her performance in Timbuktu! and another for her work in The Wild Party. She also starred on the West End stage in a production of Stephen Sondheim's Follies. Kitt's screen credits are numerous, including the 1965 drama "I Spy," for which she was nominated for an Emmy Award. Her autobiography is entitled "I'm Still Here: Confessions of a Sex Kitten."
