News East to Edinburgh Festival Launches July 13 at 59E59 Theaters The seventh annual East to Edinburgh Festival, a cross-section of U.S. works headed for Scotland's Edinburgh Fringe Festival, begins its Off-Broadway engagement July 13 at 59E59 Theaters.

The annual event serves as a testing ground for U.S. productions by simulating the same production constraints as the Edinburgh Festival. Performances will run through Aug. 1.

Yo Girl! written and performed by Natalie Kim, directed by Kenneth Heaton
"What happens when you meet the man of your dreams? For Natalie Kim, the answer is in her mothers. All three of them" (July 13, 14, 20).

No Traveler written and performed by Penny Pollack, directed by Samantha Jones
Hi, How Can I Help You written and performed by Scout Durwood, directed by Lucile Scott
"No Traveler combines vaudeville, music and monologue to explore the heartbreaking act of suicide with the one thing that helps us keep going... laughter. Hi, How Can I Help You, is a one woman musical following the silly side of working as an S&M mistress" (July 14-16).
