Mondays in the Club with Lance, the new late-night party around a piano hosted by Emmy Award-winning songwriter and arranger Lance Horne, kicks off January 14 from 9 PM to 4 AM at Club Cumming, the East Village hot spot co-owned by Tony winner Alan Cumming.

Inspired by songs mentioned in Jack Viertel’s book The Secret Life of the American Musical: How Broadway Shows Are Built, the series kicks off with “Curtain Up, Light the Lights,” celebrating opening numbers of all shapes and sizes.

Horne will be joined by surprise guests from Broadway.

Sammi Cannold directs the evening that is co-hosted by Hunter Canning. There is no cover and no minimum. Lyrics are provided.

Club Cumming is located at 505 East 6th Street.
