A tribute to the late Kitty Carlisle Hart, the 8 PM performance will feature an excerpt from Moss Hart's Light Up the Sky. Directed by their son, Christopher Hart, Light Up the Sky boasts performances by Seldes, Easton, Lisa Banes and Huffman.
Kitty Carlisle Hart's former musical director David Lewis will musical direct the evening that also includes performances by Dina Merrill, Celeste Holme, Joan Copeland, Betsy von Furstenberg, KT Sullivan, Charles Kimbrough, Beth Holland and Ms. Hart's daughter, Dr. Catherine Hart.
In attendance to honor Ms. Hart will be Senator Roy Goodman, Hannah Pakula, Schuyler Chapin, and Gerald Schoenfeld of the Shubert Organization.

Cause Célèbre, founded by Food for Thought founding artistic director Susan Charlotte, was created to utilize dramatic works to bring attention and understanding to various psychological, physical and social issues. Kitty Carlisle Hart was an avid supporter of the Glaucoma Foundation.
