Entitled An Intimate Evening with Christine Ebersole, the Grey Gardens star will be joined by entertainer Billy Stritch on piano, performing selections from their extensive concert and cabaret repertoire.
The elegant auditorium will be transformed into a ballroom for the gala fundraiser, which begins at 6:30 PM with a cocktail reception and a silent auction that includes an array of trips, artwork and other one-of-a-kind objects. Dinner follows at 7:30 PM prior to a performance by Ebersole and Stritch at 9 PM. Following the Broadway entertainment will be an evening of dance, with music provided by the City Lights Orchestra.
Ebersole is a two-time Tony Award winner for her roles in 42nd Street and Grey Gardens, for which she also received the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards. A Tony nominee for Dinner at Eight, Ebersole's Broadway credits also include Steel Magnolias, The Best Man, Getting Away with Murder, Harrigan 'n Hart, Camelot, Oklahoma!, On the Twentieth Century, I Love My Wife and Angel Street. Her screen credits include "Saturday Night Live," "Amadeus," "Gypsy" and "Will and Grace." This February, the celebrated actress is scheduled to star as Margo Channing in the City Center Encores! production of Applause.
