The comedy, also directed by Israely, will officially open Dec. 3 at the California theater. Orgasms explores the mistakes made by God during the creation of man and woman. As a release states "For instance, God forgot to connect the man's penis to the heart and to the brain. Of course, these were mistakes that God fixed when he created Eve, the woman; therefore, making the woman the new and improved version — some think the better model."

Smith has appeared on Broadway in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Grease!, The Pirates of Penzance, The Human Comedy, Grand Hotel and in the national tours of Kiss Me, Kate, Annie Get Your Gun and Anything Goes.

Allen has appeared in such films as "Anger Management" and "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" as well as television appearance in "CSI," "The X-Files" and ""Charmed."

Asner, known to television audiences as Lou Grant on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and the spin-off "Lou Grant," has appeared on Broadway in Born Yesterday, Face of a Hero and Threepenny Opera.

The design team for Orgasms features Akeime A. Mitterlehner (set), Carey Hishmeh and Tina Cote-Dolan (costumes), Steven Young (lighting) and Al Segro (sound). The production features music by Lilo Fadidas. The work is presented by D.I. Productions and produced by Beth Hirsch.
