Proceeds from the three performances directed by LaBute will benefit the Archer School for Girls. Harris appeared in the provocative work at The Public Theater in fall 2006.

According to Center Theatre Group, which operates the Douglas, "Two of America's most exciting artists team up to create a theatrical tour de force in this new solo work. In true LaBute fashion, this new play promises to thrill, surprise and challenge your assumptions about love, family and marriage."

Wrecks was first produced at Everyman Palace Theatre in Cork, Ireland, and made its U.S. debut at the Public Theater in New York City.

Ed Harris received Academy Award nominations for his performances in "Pollock," "The Hours," "The Truman Show" and "Apollo 13." He completed filming the title role in "Copying Beethoven" and was recently seen in "A History of Violence." The actor has appeared on Broadway in Taking Sides and Precious Sons, earning a Drama Desk Award for his work in the latter. Harris' other stage credits include Fool for Love (Obie Award), Prairie Avenue, Scar, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Grapes of Wrath, Sweet Bird of Youth and Simpatico (Lucille Lortel Award).

LaBute's plays include Fat Pig, The Mercy Seat and bash. Performances are June 1 at 8 PM and June 2 at 2 and 8 PM.
