News Ed Harris to Star in “Cleaner” Film Theatre vet Ed Harris (Wrecks) will join Samuel L. Jackson in the film “Cleaner” for Millennium Films, according to published reports.

The crime thriller is about a man, played by Jackson, who specializes in cleaning up crime scenes. Harris will play Jackson's character’s former partner. Renny Harlin will direct Matthew Aldrich’s screenplay. The film will begin shooting next month in Shreveport, LA.

Ed Harris recently completed a run at the Public Theater in Neil LaBute’s one-man play Wrecks. He received Academy Award nominations for his performances in "Pollock," "The Hours," "The Truman Show" and "Apollo 13" and stars in the the current film "Copying Beethoven." His stage credits include Taking Sides, Precious Sons (Drama Desk Award), Fool for Love (Obie Award), Prairie Avenue, Scar, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Grapes of Wrath, Sweet Bird of Youth and Simpatico (Lucille Lortel Award). He will star in Ben Affleck's upcoming directorial debut, “Gone, Baby, Gone.”
