The new musical was penned by Leslie Becker (Bonnie & Clyde, Anything Goes, Nine) and Curtis Rhodes and concerns "an upper class British family that gets shipwrecked on an island," according to press notes. "With only their butler to help them survive, traditional class systems are questioned and unexpected love blossoms."

The cast will comprise Ed Watts (Crichton), Trista Moldovan (Lady Mary), Kevin Massey (Revered Treherne), Lindsay Nicole Chambers (Tweeny), Jillian Gottlieb (Lady Catherine), Erin Burniston (Lady Agatha), Christoper Sloan (Ernest Woolley), Jim Weitzer (Lord Brocklehurst) and Warren Kelley (Lord Loam) with Benjie Randall, Joe Torello, Matthew Thompson, Jazmin Gorsline, Analisa Leaming and Rachel Coloff.

"With the popularity of 'Downton Abbey,' and America's recent obsession with the British culture, a show about the class systems in the early 1900's seemed a perfect fit for the times," said Becker, who wrote the book and lyrics, in a statement. "Since it is based on a beautifully written play, it is a true 'book' musical and we've kept the score in classical style reminiscent of Gilbert and Sullivan or Lerner and Lowe."

DJ Salisbury will direct the reading with musical direction by Darren R. Cohen. Casting is by Wojcik/Seay Casting.
