News Eden Espinosa, Patrick Stewart, Joel Grey, John Benjamin Hickey Set for 2013 Straight for Equality Awards Eden Espinosa, who starred in Broadway's Wicked, will perform at PFLAG National's fifth annual Straight for Equality Awards April 4 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Comedian, writer and producer Lizz Winstead (co-creator of "The Daily Show") will host.

The organization will present the Straight for Equality in Entertainment Award to Sir Patrick Stewart ("X-Men: Days of Future Past," "Star Trek: The Next Generation"), the Straight for Equality in Literature Award to award-winning author John Irving, the Straight for Equality in Sports Award to Brendon Ayanbadejo and Chris Kluwe, and the Straight for Equality in the Workplace Award to Whirlpool Corporation. Scheduled to attend are Tony Award winners Joel Grey (Wicked) and John Benjamin Hickey (The Normal Heart), former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue, writer-director Stephen Belber and singer-songwriter Sunny Ozell, among others.

Straight for Equality is a project of PFLAG National. It was launched in 2007 to "invite, educate and engage straight individuals to have the discussions necessary to move equality forward for their gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender friends in simple, nonpolitical ways."
