Classic Arts News   Edinburgh Festival Tickets Selling at Brisk Pace
Ticket sales for this year's Edinburgh International Festival are up 14 percent from last year, the Scotsman reports.

Dance and theater productions are among the most popular attractions.

One of the top sellers is Christopher Wheeldon's Swan Lake, which will be performed by the Pennsylvania Ballet and accompanied by the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio. Vladimir Fedoseyev will conduct the August 15-19 performances.

A festival spokesman told the paper, "Some shows are already sold out, but there are still tickets for the majority of events. The message is book soon to be sure of your seats."
