Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour, a play by Lee Hall featuring music by ELO, will transfer to the West End's Duke of York's, beginning performances May 9 prior to an official opening May 15, for a run through September 2.

First seen at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015, where it won several awards, including a Scotsman Fringe First, a Herald Angel Award, a Little Devil Herald Award, and a Stage Ensemble Award, was subsequently seen at the National Theatre's Dorfman. The play tells the story of six Catholic school girls from Oban in Scotland who find themselves let loose in Edinburgh for the day.

The play is adapted from Alan Warner's novel and directed by Vicky Featherstone, artistic director of the Royal Court and formerly artistic director of National Theatre of Scotland, who co-produced the original production with Newcastle's Live Theatre. The West End transfer is presented by Sonia Friedman Productions, Scott M. Delman, and Tulchin Bartner Productions.

The production is designed by Chloe Lamford, with choreography by Imogen Knight, lighting by Lizzie Powell, and sound by Mike Walker. The music is sourced, arranged, and supervised by Martin Lowe.
