Stages Repertory veteran Sally Edmundson extends her run as Vogue editor Diana Vreeland in the Houston premiere of Full Gallop at the Stages Repertory Theatre though Oct. 17. Performances began Sept. 8 for an opening Sept. 10 and a run originally set through Oct. 3. Stages artistic director Rob Bundy directs.

Gallop finds Vreeland, fashion guru for nearly five decades, after she has been fired from Vogue and is in search of money to begin her next venture. The one-woman piece, penned by Mark Hampton (The Heebie Jeebies) and actress Mary Louise Wilson, originally starred Wilson, who won an Obie and Drama Desk Award for it.

Edmundson has been seen at Stages Rep in All Over, Quills, The Perfect Party, Laughing Wild, Joe Egg, Serenading Louie, Coyote Ugly, The Tempest and Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. Other credits include roles with the Arkansas Repertory and the Virginia Shakespeare Festival.

Designing Gallop are Dennis McNabb (sets, costumes), Kirk Markley (lighting), Stefan Stout (sound) and Jodi Bobrovsky (props). Debs Ramser is the production stage manager.
