Off-Broadway News Edward Albee’s At Home at the Zoo Extends Again The Signature Theatre production, with Katie Finneran and Robert Sean Leonard, is now playing through March 25.

The Signature Theatre production of Edward Albee’s At Home at the Zoo, an evening of two Edward Albee plays (Homelife and The Zoo Story) currently playing on The Irene Diamond Stage, has been a extended a second time. Previously scheduled to play through March 18, performances are now scheduled through March 25.

In act one, Albee’s play Homelife, we meet Peter and his wife, who live a comfortable but unhappy bourgeois existence. In the second act, the play The Zoo Story, Peter’s life is changed by the arrival of a persistent stranger in Central Park.

Edward Albee’s At Home at the Zoo is directed by Drama Desk Award winner Lila Neugebauer (Everybody, The Wolves) and features a cast made up of Tony Award winner Katie Finneran (Noises Off; Promises, Promises), Tony winner and House star Robert Sean Leonard (The Invention of Love), and Emmy nominee Paul Sparks (House of Cards, Boardwalk Empire).

The production is in honor of former resident playwright Albee, who passed away in 2016. Performances began January 30 ahead of a February 21 opening.
