The Madrid City Theater premieres Jaime Salom's playEl otro William, January 23 - April 5.

This play reopens the controversy about who was the actual author of several theatrical works attributed to William Shakespeare. The long standing controversy results from the fact that in several cases, the Bard left no record that he was the sole author of the work.

Salom has received many awards including the Spanish Literature Prize, and his plays have been translated into numerous languages and presented all over the world. In a press conference for El otro William, Salom said that he couldn't conceal his interest in how the British (the play will soon be presented in the UK) public would react to such a controversial topic.

This production stars Gemma Cuervo and Manuel Galiana. Galiana is also the director of the Show.
