Entitled Second Time Around, Joyce will present her new show June 25, 27 and 28 at Don't Tell Mama. Emily Olin will be the musical director for the 9 PM performances. Second Time Around is described in this manner: "In a sense, a small Broadway show; in reality, a trip through the "ins and outs" of a woman's best days, not so best days, but always days that keep us asking for more." Cabaretgoers can expect to hear such tunes as "Whoever You Are," "Money, Money, Money," "A Sunday Kind of Love," "Funny Girl," "In Your Eyes," and "Second Time Around."
Elaine Joyce starred in the title role of the Broadway musical Sugar, earning a Theatre World Award for her Main Stem debut. After relocating to the West Coast, she made numerous television appearances, including stints on "Magnum, P.I.," "Hart to Hart," "Hotel," "Murder, She Wrote," "Who's the Boss?," "Fantasy Island" and "Beverly Hills, 90210." The actress' other theatrical credits include productions of Sugar Babies; No, No, Nanette; Mack and Mabel; Damn Yankees; Sweet Charity; South Pacific; and Promises, Promises.
