News Elaine Paige and Michael Ball Team for Summer Concert Two of London's leading musical theatre stars, Elaine Paige and Michael Ball, will join forces this summer for a one-night-only concert in the U.K.

On July 15 Paige and Ball will perform at The Rec in Bath. Part of the Summer Nights Open Air Concert Series, the evening will feature both solos and duets from the two singing actors. Arguably Britain's most successful musical theatre actress, Elaine Paige has starred on the London stage in Evita, Cats, Chess, Anything Goes, Piaf, Sunset Boulevard and The King and I. She made her Broadway debut to much acclaim in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard, and her recordings are numerous. Paige also appeared in the New York City Opera's production of Sweeney Todd, earning a Drama Desk Award nomination for her performance as Mrs. Lovett. She currently hosts a radio program on BBC Radio 2 entitled "Elaine Paige On Sunday."

Michael Ball, who was on Broadway earlier this season in The Woman in White, made his Broadway debut as Alex in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Aspects of Love, a role he created on the London stage. His other London stage credits include The Woman in White, The Pirates of Penzance, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Passion and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Ball's numerous, best-selling solo recordings include "Centre Stage," "Christmas," "Live at the Royal Albert Hall," "The Movies," "The Musicals," "First Love," "Always" and "Michael Ball." He was also recently seen in the New York City Opera production of Patience.
