Stritch will be the special guest star for the Chorus' Holiday Spectacular!, which will be presented Dec. 14 at Carnegie Hall. Show time is 8 PM.
Founding artistic director Gary Miller and Casey J. Hayes will be the music directors for the annual concert. David Edelman is the executive director of the Chorus. In a statement, Edelman said, "The NYCGMC holiday concert is always a special night. You can always count on NYCGMC to create a warm holiday evening of traditional holiday carols, booming chorales and sentimental favorites. But just when you think its safe, you can count on the boys to serve up some off-beat surprises to shake up the snow-globe a bit. This year we are thrilled to have the legendary Elaine Stritch joining us.”
Tickets will go on sale Nov. 14 by calling (212) 247-7800.
