News Elaine Stritch's Dachshund Gets Dolled Up as His Late Broadway Pal – Signature Glasses and All Marshall, the canine companion who shared several months with late Broadway icon Elaine Stritch before she died July 17, 2014, was decked out in the "Ladies Who Lunch" originator's signature look on the one-year anniversary of her death.

Stritch's close friend, Broadway actor Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, shared the image of the adorable Dachshund with Playbill.com. The miniature breed was the actress' favorite and the Company star adopted Marshall during the final months of her life, he said. Marshall now resides with close friends of Stritch, who lived next door to her in Birmingham, MI, where she lived during the last year of her life.
