It is being presented under the auspices of the London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT).

Previously staged at New York's Public Theater in 2010, this word-for-word dramatization is directed by John Collins and features Scott Shepherd as Nick. The production is set in a mundane office where workers encounter a dog-eared copy of the Fitzgerald novel and read it aloud as the story's characters swirl around them.

Before it comes to London, it will be reprised at the Public first, for a season that runs March 14-May 6 in the Newman Theatre.

To book tickets for the London season, contact the National Theatre box office on 020 7452 3000, or visit www.nationaltheatre.org.uk for more details.
