News Emily Padgett and Whitney Bashor Set to Play New 54 Below Concert Side Show's Emily Padgett and Bridges of Madison County star Whitney Bashor are among the Broadway names who will celebrate the music of New York-based songwriters Matte O'Brien and Matt Vinson at 54 Below on Sept. 27.

The concert, titled There's Something There: The Songs of Matt & Matt, will also feature Rema Webb (A New Brain), Nancy Anderson (Wonderful Town), Lauren Zakrin (Rock of Ages), Michelle Veintimilla (The Visit), Chris Dwan (Finding Neverland), Blake Whyte (Wicked), Jared Zirilli (Lysistrata Jones), Geoffrey Kidwell (Rock of Ages) and Luke Wygodny (American Idiot).

The cast will also include Carly Augenstein, Christina D. Eskridge, John Garry, Brad Greer, Alyson Lange, and Christian Noojin.

For their 54 Below debut, the musical theatre duo will feature music from their two upcoming collaborations: the pop-rock opera Cake, based on the writings of Marie Antoinette and the Marquis de Sade and a folk adaptation of L.M. Montgomery’s "Anne of Green Gables."

The evening will also include new arrangements from their 2011 sold-out Off-Broadway musical Peter & I.

Musical direction is by Vinson with accompaniment by band members Micah Burgess (guitar), Alisa Horn (cello) and Jeremy Yaddow (drums). The concert will also feature musical staging by Jennifer Jancuska. It is being produced by Lee Ann Gullie, Justin Nichols, and Rope Swing Entertainment.
