News Emmy Winner Jim Parsons Will Make "Saturday Night Live" Hosting Debut in March Jim Parsons, who has appeared on Broadway in The Normal Heart and Harvey, will host the March 1 broadcast of NBC's "Saturday Night Live."

The evening's musical guest will be Beck.

Emmy winner Parsons, who can be seen on “The Big Bang Theory,” will be making his "SNL" hosting debut. Beck is returning for his seventh appearance as musical guest. Beck’s eagerly anticipated album, “Morning Phase,” is due Feb. 25.

"Saturday Night Live" airs in the New York metropolitan area on NBC, Channel 4, beginning at 11:35 PM ET; check local listings.
