News   "Encore — The Private Collection," Compilation Disc Featuring Late Steve Barton, Due in May On May 10 Stage Door Records will release a second compilation CD of songs recorded by Steve Barton, the late actor who created the role of Raoul in both the London and Broadway productions of The Phantom of the Opera.

Mr. Barton also appeared on Broadway in The Red Shoes. His numerous international credits include roles in Dance of the Vampires, Beauty and the Beast, Cats, Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar. Mr. Barton died in Germany in 2001, age 47. Stage Door Records previously released Barton's "Only for A While," which featured 14 unreleased tracks.
