News End of the Affair: For Lovers Only to Close Off-Broadway Aug. 3 The Off-Broadway revue For Lovers Only will sing its last love song. The production will shutter at New World Stages Aug. 3

Nancy Friday conceived the revue that began performances Off-Broadway April 24 and officially opened at New World Stages May 11. The production will have played 25 performances and 11 previews. Christopher Scott directs the production that has musical direction by Ken Lundie. The cast features Glenn Seven Allen, Constantine Germanacos, Gia McGlone, Dominique Plaisant and Trisha Rapier.

For Lovers Only (Love Songs…Nothing but Love Songs), according to press notes, "presents a dazzling array of love songs from pop to Puccini, from Broadway and around the world, interspersed through a fast-paced evening."
