Benjamin Eakeley and Kate Wetherhead will be part of the Engeman Theater production of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, which will begin performances July 5.

The musical about, life, love, dating and marriage has book and lyrics by Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Toxic Avenger) and music by Jimmy Roberts.

BT McNicholl will direct the engagement that officially opens July 7 for a run through Aug. 19. Antoinette DiPietropolo choreographs with musical direction by James Cunninghamn.

Joining Eakeley (On a Clear Day, Sweeney Todd) and Wetherhead (Legally Blonde, Spelling Bee) are Howie Michael Smith (Avenue Q) and Joanna Young (The Drowsy Chaperone, Rated P... For Parenthood).

Here's how it's billed: "The witty script and lyrics showcase a dizzying spectrum of male/female relationships as four actor's journey through a hilarious series of vignettes which cleverly explore the trials and tribulations of single life, dating, marriage, loss and heartbreak. This amusing revue pays tribute to the complexities and absurdities of awkward, intimate moments as bad first dates, meeting the parents and family trips."

The production will have scenic design by Jonathan Collins, costume design by Ryan J. Moller, lighting design by Joel Silver and sound design by Craig Kaufman. For tickets phone (631) 261-2900 or visit EngemanTheater. The Engeman Theater is located at 250 Main Street in Northport, Long Island.
