News Enter to Win A Pair of Tickets to Hairspray Movie Musical Screening Celebrate the upcoming broadcast of NBC's Hairspray Live! at a special screening of the 2007 Hairspray movie musical.

Run and tell that! We're giving away three (3) pairs of tickets to a screening of the 2007 movie musical version of Hairspray on Tuesday, November 29 at Cinépolis Chelsea.

The screening, which includes snacks, a costume contest, and giveaways, is presented in celebration of NBC’s upcoming December 7 broadcast of Hairspray Live!

The event, hosted by Hedda Lettuce, will begin with a costume contest at 7:00 PM prior to the screening at 7:30 PM.

Sign up below for a chance to win, and share on social media for extra entries. Entry period begins at noon ET on Wednesday, November 16 and ends at 5:00 PM ET on Tuesday, November 22. Restrictions apply. Winner must be able to provide their own transportation and lodging in New York City. Winner will be contacted by Playbill.com.

Hairspray Movie Musical Screening  (Contest on Hive.co)

Tony Award-winning actor Kristin Chenoweth will be featured in the show as Velma Von Tussle, the former Miss Baltimore Crabs, among a cast that includes Harvey Fierstein, who will recreate his iconic, Tony Award-winning Broadway role as Edna Turnblad, Martin Short (Maya and Marty) as Wilbur Turnblad, Derek Hough as TV host Corny Collins, Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson (The Color Purple, Dreamgirls) as Motormouth Maybelle, and newcomer Maddie Baillio as Tracy Turnblad.

Live television director Alex Rudzinski (Grease Live!) will join director Kenny Leon (The Wiz Live!) to stage the broadcast. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (the upcoming A Few Good Men Live!) serve as executive producers of Hairspray Live! Fierstein will provide a new teleplay, and Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, On Your Feet!) will serve as choreographer for the live production with music and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Smash, Catch Me If You Can, and Broadway’s upcoming Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). Bernard Telsey and Abbie Brady-Dalton of Telsey + Company oversaw the casting campaign.
