Joe Orton's tense 1964 comedy was presented earlier this summer by the Actors Company Theater. All four cast members will return for the limited engagement that will play Aug. 11-14 and Aug. 18-21. Stan Zimmerman directs. The cast includes Buchanan ("The Bold and the Beautiful," "General Hospital," "Twin Peaks") as Ed, Cooper (We Will Rock You) as Mr. Sloane, D'Abo ("The Wonder Years") as Kath and Gammell (Julius Caesar, Broadway's The House of Atreus, "Nip/Tuck") as Kemp.
According to ACT, "The play keeps audiences on the edge of their seats, as the plot unfolds, revealing the tangled and twisted misadventures of a landlady, her brother, and a handsome, young psychopathic tenant. Murder, homosexuality, nymphomania, and sadism are among the themes of this black comedy focusing on a brother and sister who become involved with a young, sexy, amoral drifter with a mysterious past."
Performances take place at the Actors Company Theater, located at 916a. North Formosa Ave., West Hollywood, CA. For tickets phone (323) 960-7863 or visit Plays411.
